Everything is GREAT!

Can the saying "when it rains, it pours" be used to describe positive situations? I'm curious, because so many good things have happened over the past week or so.

* As I stated before, I'll be at HeroesCon 2012, sharing a table with the ever awesome Benjamin Marra. But even better, Ben and I have been added to the Indie Island area of the con! If you've never been or you aren't familiar with "Indie Island", it's the epicenter of all the self-published/independent comics goodness at the show. You've got publishers like Top Shelf and AdHouse there, along with the best name in indie comics. I'm extremely honored to be a part of that.

* Looks like table space for me, Jason Pittman, Desiree Pittman, Katie Omberg, and Jeremy Massie at SPX this year WILL be happening! More info as it develops.

* I'm also very excited to announce the first set of Collector Cards based on my comics! The five card set features images from The Adv. of Liberty City Vol. 1, Bee Sting, The Curse of Stranglehold, Tales From The Suggestion Box, and Simon Says #1. * Wrapping up The Adv. of Liberty City Free Comic Book Day special tonight...I'll be posting the title and cover for it very soon!

So, yeah, lots of great things happening right now...I'm stoked!

Fluke, HeroesCon, and updates...

Hey, guys!

I don't feel like I've gotten a lot done the past few weeks, but at the same time, I do. I've mostly been concentrating on putting stuff together for this year's The Adventurers of Liberty City Free Comic Book Day offering. No details on that yet, but I should be finishing it up in the next week...trust me, it's gonna be cool. Another tease...something very cool will be popping up on my online store in the next couple of days as well, so be sure to keep an eye out for that.

As for upcoming "The Adventurers of Liberty City" stuff, Brad is starting to ink/letter issue 9 and I'll start working on the cover for that issue in the next week as well. Brad, David, and I threw some ideas around for the next few issues as well. We have loads of stories in our heads, it's just deciding on what to do next sometimes. It looks like issues 10 and 11 will be focusing on some origins of the characters. More on this as it develops...as well as the new comic that David and I will start working on soon!

But the major news right now deal with conventions! I'll be at Fluke in Athens, GA on April 21, and I'll be doing HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC on June 22-24! I've done both shows before, and frankly, I love them...two of my all-time favorites. Sharing a table with me at HeroesCon will be the amazing Benjamin Marra. If you aren't familiar with his stuff, check it out...awesome doesn't begin to describe it!
